Dear colleagues and friends,

Have you heard the buzz? The new Spirit of Sustainability series has been a huge hit with over 200 participants in the first two weeks.

Come down for a free light lunch and celebrate a spirit of sustainability every Thursday in April.
12-1pm in Sage Chapel.

This weeks lunch-time talk is by Randy Lacey, Cornell University engineer, titled “Cornell Roots Grow Green.” Randy will trace his path from an undergrad studying alternative energy to his work today to make Cornell's labs and buildings efficient and innovative.

The overall series, “A Spirit of Sustainability: Why We Care about Climate Neutrality,” focuses attention on the people behind Cornell’s Climate Action Plan (CAP), their inspirations and motivations and the
university’s efforts to achieve carbon neutrality in the years ahead.

Food and music will be available from noon. At 12:15 p.m., event
moderator Dan Roth will introduce the week’s featured speakers for a 15-
20 minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
