achieving a clean and just energy future on Thursday, April 23rd.
Community Town Hall
Thurs April 23rd
5:30-7:00 P.M.
Bache Auditorium (Rm 228)
Malott Hall
Cornell University
Light refreshments will be provided.
Child-care is available, though advanced notice is preferred
([email protected]).
* Ask your representatives the hard questions!
* Get the details on actions that are already in the works, and what
you can do to help!
* Show your support for meaningful and just climate change solutions
at the local, state, national, and international levels!
As part of the national Focus the Nation campaign
(focusthenation.org), there will be a Community Town Hall in Ithaca
for anyone in Tompkins County and/or New York's 22nd District
(www.dkosopedia.com/wiki/NY-22). Representative Hinchey and Senator
Gillibrand will likely be joining us in some form, via webcam or a
staffer. Regional and local elected officials will also be in
attendance.
There will be a short intro, followed by a few questions from the
moderator for all panelists, and then the majority of the time will be
open to questions from the audience.
Please forward this to any and all listserves and potentially
interested parties to ensure diverse community attendance.
See you on April 23rd!
