You're invited to a solutions-oriented, nonpartisan town hall forum on achieving a clean and just energy future on Thursday, April 23rd.
Community Town Hall Thurs April 23rd 5:30-7:00 P.M. Bache Auditorium (Rm 228) Malott Hall Cornell University Light refreshments will be provided. Child-care is available, though advanced notice is preferred ([email protected]). * Ask your representatives the hard questions! * Get the details on actions that are already in the works, and what you can do to help! * Show your support for meaningful and just climate change solutions at the local, state, national, and international levels! As part of the national Focus the Nation campaign (http://www.focusthenation.org), there will be a Community Town Hall in Ithaca for anyone in Tompkins County and/or New York's 22nd District (http://www.dkosopedia.com/wiki/NY-22). A staffer from Representative Hinchey's office is attending, and Senator Gillibrand will likely be joining us in some form, via webcam or a staffer. Regional and local elected officials will also be in attendance. There will be a short intro, followed by a few questions from the moderator for all panelists, and then the majority of the time will be open to questions from the audience.
