Several people have emailed me in response to my
earlier post on the American Farmland Trust's
farmers' market vote. The Ithaca Farmers' Market
IS REGISTERED (I voted on the site this morning,
following the directions below) however here is a
direct link to the voting page for those who
haven't been able to get there:

Thanks for your interest,

VOTE FOR ITHACA FARMERS' MARKET
This summer, American Farmland Trust is
supporting farmers' markets across the nation
with a national farmers' market contest. This is
part of a campaign to help spread the No Farms
No Food® message and promote local farms and
food across the country. For 3 months starting
on June 1st, farmers' market customers can cast
their votes for Americas Favorite Farmers'
Market and support their community market. The
three top markets - one small, one medium, and
one large - will win a free No Farms No Food®
tote bag giveaway for their market customers.
To participate, visit
http://www.farmland.org/default.asp, click on
"Vote for America's Favorite Farmers Market",
and enter 14850 on the map search. A voting
button will pop up in the orange box over Ithaca.
You can read more about the No Farms No Food®
message and the work of American Farmland Trust on the site.
