Hi everyone,
Many of you may not have heard the news that CALS Dean Susan Henry will
be stepping down at the end of her term, and that the search for a
replacement is already underway.
http://www.news.cornell.edu/stories/July09/HenryToStepDown.html
NWAEG at Cornell sees this as an opportunity to make sure our voices and
values are heard during the selection process. We will be meeting with
Ron Seeber, the vice provost for land grant affairs, on 9-18. We
encourage other groups on campus and in the community to set up similar
meetings, but we'd also like to get together and work on a cohesive
message with respect to the kind of sustainable agriculture education
we'd like to see supported in the college.
If you can't make the meeting (details below), please feel free to share
your ideas through this list.
Hope to see you there,
NWAEG at Cornell
