Ever wonder what goes on at those big farms you drive by? Today you can find out at this FREE event! There are exhibits and activities that will interest the entire family, including: A farm tour hayride of this award-winning farm's crops and pastures; Learn how farms can protect the environment; See the farms corn stove; Sheep and Border Collie demonstrations at 1:00 & 3:00 pm; Make and eat a GIANT ice cream sundae with the Tompkins County Dairy Princesses at 2:00 pm; Tour the milk house and milking parlor and learn about the different life stages of the dairy cow; Explore a wide variety of dairy and other agricultural exhibits and activities (under tents!). Chicken BBQ, hamburgers, hot dogs, salt potatoes,nachos, drinks, and other items will be available for sale throughout the event at a concession run by the 4-H Cultural Exchange Club.
