Join us for a presentation and discussion with Rachel Schneider, Education Director for Hawthorne Valley Farm in Harlemville, NY. Hawthorne Valley Farm is a 400-acre biodynamic farm affiliated with the Hawthorne Valley Association, a nonprofit operation dedicated to agriculture, education, and the arts. Rachel has years of experience in designing and delivering educational programs for school children, beginning farmers, artists, teachers and the general public.

Educational programs currently offered by Hawthorne Valley Farm include:
   * Public tours and workshops
   * Short-term residential programs for school groups
   * Farmer apprentice program
   * Farm Beginnings Program for new farmers
   * Visiting Students Program
   * Farmscape Ecology Program
This program is free and open to the public.
