Hi Ronan, it's true and not... In fact I declare the Adobe's ext just to be sure to have the Rhino engine...Either Mozilla's family and Adobe uses it and that's grants to reach a large number of viewers... By the way, I have win2K and both IE and Mozilla (with ASV3 or 6) and it renders ok...
Your msg driven me to install Firefox with embedded SVG and, I must say, that many of the svg files (even the simplest) aren't rendered correctly or aren't rendered at all... Probably the native svg of Mozilla is still under development and it's too early to compare with mature viewers...that's an opinion... Thank you anyway...
