andr,
Adobe's partnership with Opera in the Adobe Creative Suite 2 does not
really have any SVG implications per se. We are using Opera's technology
for lots of things, but as far as I know we are not leveraging their new
SVG support. Although things are very complex with our suite of products
and it is hard to keep track of everything, as far as I know Adobe uses its
own SVG code for all of its SVG support.

Regarding CS2, I will say that CS2 does have a number of SVG-related
enhancements, all of which I believe are orthogonal to our relationship
with Opera. Adobe Illustrator CS2
(http://www.adobe.com/products/illustrator/newfeatures.html) includes many
SVG enhancements, including formal support for SVG Tiny 1.1 and SVG Basic
1.1, ability to import and the export SVG content non-destructively such
that animations and scripting are preserved, ability to define the SVG
viewbox (via cropmarks), ability to generate SVG without XMP thumbnails,
export of SVG Fonts, and many others enhancements. Adobe GoLive CS2
(http://www.adobe.com/products/golive/newfeatures.html) also includes a
large number of SVG-specific enhancements, including visual preview of SVG
content with the ability to visually select SVG objects with
auto-highlighting of the selection in source and/or XML structure views,
thereby making it easier to do XML source code edits with visual feedback.
There are lots of other SVG-related enhancements in GoLive CS2, but that's
the big one I remember now. Not formally part of CS2 but related to it is
Adobe's reselling of Ikivo Animator. We worked hard to make sure that there
is a workflow between Illustrator CS2, Ikivo Animator, and GoLive CS2 so
that you can exchange files between the three. There has also been
collaboration between Adobe CS2 efforts and Beatware Mobile Designer,
including (if I remember correctly) a Beatware plugin to GoLive.
