Ronan made a good point that content developers should examine their dependencies and avoid assumptions (eg sniffing specifically for ASV, or using techniques that are specific to ASV extensions like the right-click menu stuff, or taking advantage of looseness that ASV allows for historical reasons (eg defaulting the SVG namespace).
