This sounds a bit confusing and/or not enough information is available. There's available information on how to inline SVG within HTML [1] - please take a look for possible clues. If you still can't get it running, please paste a sample of the generated HTML+SVG into a reply. Note that sending verbatim markup into the mailing generally does not behave very well (the server probably does some pre-processing for security reasons) so it's better to check the post afterward.
