What do you mean by the original Apshai? Do you mean not the "Trilogy" or are you talking about a specific platform? I have a few of the 1979 "original" Apshais complete in box. I don't think they are very rare. I also have most of the later games in the Dunjonquest series: Upper Reaches Curse of Ra Danger in Drindisti Hellfire Warrior Morloc's Tower Datestones of Ryn Sword of Fargoal Temple of Apshai Trilogy I still need Gateway to Apshai, which is a cartridge for C-64 and Colecovision (which I don't want). Not rare (because it is one of the later ones in the series), but I just haven't picked it up for some reason. I also have most of the companion "Starquest" series: Rescue at Rigel Invasion Orion Star Warrior I am looking for Starfleet Orion, if anyone has one for sale or trade. Now, if anyone has the *original* Apshai, even just the program somewhere, *that* would be a real find. Lee: I personally think that it's original wrap. This is because when I used to work at Babbage's in the mid 1980s, we would put a box into a sleeve, clamp it off with a heat wire, rotate it, and clamp it again to trim off the top. But there was a previous clamp from the box we had done before. What am I saying? I'm saying that store re-wrapped boxes have seams on three sides, and your box only has two. Your box also has wrinkles in the corners, which store rewrap *never* has. Store rewrap isn't flexible/pliable/stretchable like the good stuff they use at the factory. It is my semi-professional opinion that your box has original wrap. -- http://www.MobyGames.com/ The world's most comprehensive historical PC gaming database project. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent to you because you are currently subscribed to the swcollect mailing list.
