I promise...last I'll say on this thread.... Nope don't have the photo version...I'll have to look for it. I have the rest though...except for the scripts...will have to look for that as well. Yes, the TV Show/Mini-series/Movie...is the same thing. However, I do have the commercial releases of both the movie (video tape) and the audio tapes.
I have Titanic...which I reviewed for Gamecent when it came out...but sorry, don't have an extra. I also have a copy of Infocom's HHGG game signed by Steve Meretzky (but not Adams). The books are also excellent reads >(especially the first two). If you're into English humor (like Monty >Python), they are a must. If not, this may convert you. HHGG has shaped my >sense of humor since I first heard/read/saw it in college. Oh, yeah?! Well I have at least one copy of all the books, the radio series recorded off NPR, the TV show recorded off PBS (I think this is what you call the "movie."), the radio scripts book, and _Don't Panic_ (a book about HHGG). Oh, and the Infocom game, of course. 8) I also picked up the Dirk Gently books (although I still haven't read the second and didn't care for the first), _Last Chance to See_, Bureaucracy, and a beat up copy of _The Meaning of Liff_. 8p Now I just need to get Starship Titanic. (Anyone got a spare?) Sorry. My competitive nature got the best of me there for a minute. Do you have the photo version of HHGG? It was a big hardback and sold for $42.00. Came out in the mid-1990s, I think. I didn't get it as I was a poor college student or newlywed at that point. I forget what got me interested in the series, but I think it was around middle school or high school. BTW, if you're a Hitchhiker's fan, you need to read this story at DNA's site: http://www.douglasadams.com/dna/980707-07-s.html. -- Lee K.
