I installed it a while back on my laptop. I was looking for a way to forward X sessions to windows. Honestly, I haven't used cygwin in quite some time. However, I don't think it would be too difficult to set up a build environment using cygwin. I wouldn't be able to get to it until this weekend, but I'd be more than happy to do it.
