Hi Dan, thanks for the response.

In the previous emails you refered to importing sound from WAVs or
MP3s as "proper" support, that's what I need.
If I understood correctly, DefineSound and StartSound can only be used
with sounds imported from another SWF. But how could I build that SWF
without the Flash IDE?
