I only had a couple of hours to play with this, but as expected I did not make 
any progress. Other posters in the meantime seem to have identified why this is 
and may even have ideas about how to solve it. I look forward to the results. 
Sadly my knowledge of swf files and C are far to inadequate to provide any real 
help.
