Thank you for your response and so speedily. A good day for it. It is possible that my Flash install(s) are faulty. I am running different testing machines, not VMWare physical boxes with IE6, EI7, Firefox2, Firefox3 and Safari on Mac OSX10.
I do get different effects from different browsers but all amount to one thing. Code. One way or another somewhere something is not correct. Possibly mine, but I am going to be honest I doubt it. I am of course always open for ridicule and of course correction. As such I am pasting all the relevant data I have on this fault. Behaviour: FF3+2 - No displayed flash or html content in block. right click does not show flash player options Safari - same as above IE7 - Content area is visible but appears empty. Right click shows flashplayer box with video not loaded greyed out. IE6 - Content area is visible but appears empty. Right click shows flashplayer box with video not loaded greyed out. SWF: AS3 created in Flash CS3. Publish setttings set to compress movie, jpeg 80% flashplayer 9 (I think build vers on swf says 9.0.15) SWF opens in flash player (10 is installed on all platforms except IE6 which is running 9 for regression purposes.
