Theoretically, SWFObject should be able to be used to embed *any* SWF content, no matter where from, or under what circumstances. I can't think of any good reason off the top of my head that would prevent it. You do have to be able to figure out how to take the "embed" code that the BBC provides and be able to properly translate it to swfobject syntax -- and this can be challenging. But our code generator is helpful for that. Hope this helps.
