I am using PDF2SWF to convert my PDF to one SWF/page and then using these SWFs
in a Flash flipbook app. BUT, the links that were in the PDF are no longer
working ion the flipbook. When I asked the author of the flipbook why he said,

-------------
I tried to convert a PDF with hyperlinks with PDF2SWF , but unfortunately the
links are not automatically converted.

Here you can see an example of a PDF converted with this method (an excerpt of
the Power Book Help Manual pdf):

PDF2SWF , while creating the SWFs, just converts pdf hyperlinks to buttons,
which fire the event "gotoAndStop(frame)", where a frame corresponds to a page.
But in our case we need to have an swf file for each page, so these
"gotoAndStop" commands are useless. And unfortunately there is no way to
"catch" these events from an external Flash application (like the Power Book),
so I cannot detect when a link/button like that is clicked.
-------------

1) is there any way to work around this problem and make my links survive the
conversion process?

2) if not, is there another option for converting PDFs to SWFs that I might use
to get an urgent project done?

Thanks!

Rgds,
John
