Is there enough of a market of people listening to HD to make this work? This sounds like the chicken before the egg. Have radio services (like clear channel) created this tagging to justify moving to HD? I am just asking because I honestly can¹t find any reason for HD. I have two HD radios and one sits gathering dust. Having a second channel with more of the same music or an NPR station with the second channel providing the BBC? At least that is what I hear. > I love itunes and have an Ipod with music and podcasts. What makes the ipod so good is having good content to download. I did some research and 7% of people asked said they were very interested in HD Radio. They expected that HD radio would improve the sound quality. I think it will provide Clear Channel a multiple channels for ad space.
