No, unfortunately Borland C++ Builder 5 was never released for free. 6.0 really hasn't been either, except as part of that Nokia SDK. Borland C++ BuilderX 1.0 Personal is available for free, but Sword hasn't been ported over to that framework yet (maybe someday).
You could work on incorporating the new code into the BCB6 project (or hope one of the maintainers reads this and does it for you).

I'm trying to get "sword literate" and wanted to start by learning how to rebuild the sources.
I've run into problems trying to rebuild BibleCS, both with and without ICU. My impression is this may be due to my use of C++Builder-6. On the Borland download webpage, C++Builder 5 is no longer available. Is this file available someplace where an installation file may be ethically/legally obtained?
