There are many locations in the source text where spaces were omitted. I've been able to tackle most of these by searching for various patterns.
The following questions remain: Is it correct for the left and right ceiling characters to be found within words? Or should the left ceiling always be preceded by a space (or a start quotation mark), and the right ceiling by either a space (or a suitable punctuation mark)?
