Hey Jon,
Thanks for the question. Well, I've posted a few release candidates at
the usual place and asked for feedback but hadn't gotten any. There are
some significant improvements in that RC, including the ability for the
included InstallManager.exe standalone app to migrate modules to the new
preferred default location so they can be shared among multiple Windows
frontends, and yet still retain the ability to build a self-contained
portable folder which works, as well.
So, not just av11n fixes in the waiting.
But I dread building windows installers. I have to relearn it every
time. And I think there were a few things to still polish up before
release. But mostly, it's just a lack of fortitude on my part.
Source is committed in the BCB5 branch of the biblecs repo.

Hey Karl and the Xiphos team,
Congratulations on the 3.1.5 release! This is great!
If you need any help with av11n, please don't hesitate to ask. I
went through the pains of doing this for The SWORD Project for Windows.
Not wishing to hijack a thread too far, but this reminds me that I don't
think the final result of those changes was ever released (and certainly
1.5.11 is listed as the latest on the website). As you doubtless know,
I'm not a strong fan of SWORD for Windows, but it seems to me if that's
the best version it should be released. Is there anything in particular
holding it up?

After entirely too long a delay, we have finally released Xiphos
3.1.5.
Windows users can get the installer immediately:
http://sourceforge.net/__projects/gnomesword/files/__Xiphos/3.1.5/xiphos-3.1.5-__win32.exe/download
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnomesword/files/Xiphos/3.1.5/xiphos-3.1.5-win32.exe/download>
Or get the source tarball:
http://sourceforge.net/__projects/gnomesword/files/__Xiphos/3.1.5/xiphos-3.1.5.tar.__gz/download
<http://sourceforge.net/projects/gnomesword/files/Xiphos/3.1.5/xiphos-3.1.5.tar.gz/download>
Or get it from SVN:
svn co
https://gnomesword.svn.__sourceforge.net/svnroot/__gnomesword/branches/webkit
<https://gnomesword.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/gnomesword/branches/webkit>
Building against latest Sword SVN is straightforward.
Building against not-the-latest requires that you add
-DNO_SWORD_SET_RENDER_NOTE___NUMBERS=1.
Comments and bug reports welcome.
Next task: av11n. Soon. Very soon.
