PAULO FREIRE
For a Valentine's Day special, Joffre Balce will speak on Paulo Freire. If
you'd like to do any background reading, check out the Wikipedia entry
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paulo_Freire), or see what Google tells you.
Location: members bar, floor 1 (keep winding up to the top of the stairs), The
Gaelic Club, 64 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills, Sydney (100 metres from a
Central railway station exit). Look for a group of people with notepads and
books who are taking it in turns to speak. Usually we'll be armed with the
Oxford Companion to Philosophy, and a bell. Probably we'll be ***out on the
terrace***.
No cost. No prerequisite reading. All welcome!
