Sat 16 Feb 2008 Yoga Nidra (Jacqueline Antonios)

Yoga Nidra, which is derived from the Tantras, is a profound technique in
which you learn to relax consciously. This systematic method based on
scientific principles induces complete mental, emotional and physical
relaxation required for health, mental peace and higher awareness. In this
session you will be guided through this practice. Please wear comfortable,
loose clothing. Yoga Nidra should be practiced on an empty stomach. Allow at
least three hours for digestion of a heavy meal and half an hour for the
settling of light refreshments. Please also, bring along, a mat, towel or
blanket to lay on (you really want to seperate yourself from the Humanist
House floor). The doors will be locked at 9:35 until the end of the 25
minute yoga session (Anyone inside may leave at any time). The usual
Philorum circle discussion format will follow.
