The 2008 Philosophy of Religion Research Seminar Series, in conjunction with The Department of Philosophy at Macquarie University are pleased to host a special forum with Professor Simon Critchley focused on his recent book Infinitely Demanding: Ethics of Commitment, Politics of Resistance (Verso, 2007). When: Saturday May 24, 3pm-5.30pm Where: The Refectory at the University of Sydney - in the South-Western corner of the main quad (downstairs, beneath the Arts Faculty office). The session then moves into a series of short papers from local and interstate academics offering different perspectives on the text. This will be followed by a response from Simon Critchley. The day will end with some questions and general discussion from the floor.
