The next meeting of the Workgroup on Recognition in Sydney is on Saturday this week, February 8, 12.00-2.30pm at the Duck Inn Pub (74 Rose St, Chippendale).
We will continue on the theme of social pathology, 'pathology', and 'life', discussing Georges Canguilhem's book The Normal and the Pathological (Zone Books 1991), pp. 29-64. Anyone interested in theories of recognition, or in critical social philosophy in general (both students and staff) are warmly welcome.
