Well, I was actually thinking of both. The Ext.js is a great library especially to use for
backend apps, while symfony is a great framework anyway. So the idea was to bring
both together.
I personally know the Ext code very well and have done a lot of testing. What would be
a challenge, to make it fit with the helper style, cause there can be a lot of set-up for each
component.
I have written some low level classes which can dynamically generate JS-Code in a PHP
OOP Style.
There basic aim is to be extended to render specific JS-Components, Objects, Literals, etc.
This may be helpfull
On the other hand, yes, I was thinking of a custom generator for the backend!

Ok, then, I will do it ;o)

I will write both of you an email.
thx, guys!
