Isn't it what we call 'utopia'?
I agree that one standard to 'rule them all' it's excelent, but each one has
it's needs.
Symfony uses 2 spaces due to yml, wich uses 2 spaces due to shell (AFAIK).

This is a never-ending discussion IMHO.
