I agree, We create new 1.x projects every day and if we can start using best practices to ensure smooth migration to 2.0 we need to do it now.
I don't want a complete solution right now but I think it's important to start thinking of this important point. As I previously said, my only concern about Symfony 2.0 is how I can deal with the migration of my existing projects.
