Although I've never actually used Symfony on a project (just been
following in the background for quite a while), I must say this looks
incredibly slick from my perspective as a total Symfony neophyte !
Please keep up this great work :-)

Hi all,
I have just finished the first complete implementation of the
proof-of-concept.
The implementation is done in the fields_as_template branch of my
Symfony2 repository
(http://github.com/fabpot/symfony/tree/fields_as_templates).
There is support for both PHP and Twig, but Twig support is the only
one to be "finished" and documented.

I'm pretty happy with the result and the overall flexibility if gives.
