Hi all,

I have just finished the first complete implementation of the proof-of-concept.

The implementation is done in the fields_as_template branch of my Symfony2
repository (http://github.com/fabpot/symfony/tree/fields_as_templates).

There is support for both PHP and Twig, but Twig support is the only one to be
"finished" and documented.

You can read a first draft of the documentation here:

http://docs.symfony-reloaded.org/guides/forms_twig.html

I'm pretty happy with the result and the overall flexibility if gives. As
always, all comments welcomed.

after reading the docs, i must say this rocks and looks ready to be merged at
least on the conceptual level. will see if i will find time to play with the
actual code over the course of next week.

I have just updated the documentation for the fields_as_templates branch. Both PHP and Twig templates are now documented. As you will see, the PHP templates support is not as advanced as the Twig one for now.

http://docs.symfony-reloaded.org/master/guides/form/index.html

I have eagerly waiting for any feedback for both PHP and Twig support.

I think this is better than what we have in the master branch, so if there is no big concerns in the next few days, I will merge the branch into master.

Of course, there are still many possible improvements and any help is very welcome.

Fabien
