Hi all,

Back in the initial version of symfony, there was some code somewhere in the
repository that could vaguely be used to manage media assets. People kept
asking about when this code would be finished and available, well, today is
that day.

I released the sfMediaLibrary plugin in the SVN, and you can check its wiki
page at http://trac.symfony-project.com/trac/wiki/sfMediaLibraryPlugin

Here is a screenshot of the included module, which allows users to upload
media (images and other types of files) into the server, organise them by
subdirectories, rename them, and eventually use them somewhere else (for
instance in a rich text content managed by TinyMCE). The screenshot is in
English, but the module is internationalized and available in English and
French for now.

As always, comments are welcome.

Cheers,

Francois Zaninotto
