Don't Know if it is best practice, but I did it like this:
store the actual Module in the Users Attributes. If the current module differs from the strored module, than you know the referring module and can store the new module.

Hi, I have a referer url and I want to identify what is the module from that url. So I will need to parse this url the same way symfony does it on it´s routing or front controller. How can I parse a string containing a URL to know what is the module in it considering the actual defined routing configuration? Thanks, Bruno
