Comment #1 on issue 1609 by smichr: sign(x).is_zero fails and sign()
oddities
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1609

Hi Mateusz,

In addition to the above change there are some changes to polynomial (which
might be
short lived in light of your new polys module) but would you be willing to
give it a
review? Ondrej asked if you, vinzent, or Fabian could look at these.
Vinzent has
already looked at the other parts of the update.

If you go go github, smichr account, master branch you can find the commits
in there.
The commits include all the "critical updates" patches. I think the first
commit in
master is one changing the runtests file to work on my system. Of course DO
NOT patch
that in. I don't know why the updated one fails on my XP machine, but the
other old
one still works like a charm.

Thanks for your time. Most of these commits are substantial in that they
are fixing
something that is broken, not adding a lot of new functionality. The
exception is the
polynomial changes which are helpful to the changes I made in the quartics
roots routine.

Thanks,
  /Chris
