Thanks for your reply - the 'iterables' module you demonstrate looks very  
useful, as
I will want to do a lot of similar tree-traversal tasks.

Where does this 'iterables' module come from? I have tried google searching  
for it
and have not found it, and it's not available by default in my Python 2.6
installation either. Could you let me know where you found it (and perhaps  
also close
this issue if you have the authority, as it seems there is no fix needed)?
