I think it would be easier if Chris pushed in his own patches that are passed review. The problem is really that if I review a patch that is tied up in other patches that are not reviewed, I can't push anything in. And eventually, I don't even know what has been reviewed or not, unless I look through each issue. Admittedly the GitHub pull request system makes things much easier than they were before, but it's still not ideal.
