Comment #22 on issue 2252 by ppn.onl...@me.com: activate docstring examples for symarray()
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=2252

Could you elaborate on what you mean by implementing a "numpy" handling? Implement a directive?

Readability by itself is not so significant, but for documentation and examples readability and leaving out code that isn't related to the functionality or use of the module is extremely important. If I'm not mistaken the main reason for doctests is to make sure examples in documentation are updated which goes back to having good, clear, readable documentation. The fact that directives are not included in "SymPy Modules Reference" does not diminish this in anyway as far as I can tell.

And I do agree this is an issue too easy, I've been looking for something else to patch. I just wanted to have something in as a safeguard since I'm in the middle of midterms. So if you could elaborate more in what you mean by "numpy" handling I would be glad to work on it.

Thank you.
