Comment #9 on issue 2763 by chancell...@hotmail.co.uk: Fix the SymPy Logo
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=2763

I am working with Macromedia Fireworks to fix the transparency of the "Main" logo at the moment. I'm using the 500x500 image and then re-sizing down to all the required sizes (200x200, 160x160, etc), and it should be a Vector image as it will be in PNG file format

I've researched "Favicon"'s and I should be okay at making one, the only worry is that I may have to cut the tail of the Python off to make it fit in nicely, but we will see how it goes a I will be doing that tomorrow

I will try and finish the "Main" logo today, and work on the Favicon tomorrow, the only issue I have is moving the image files from SVN to git ("Also, note that even though the logo files are currently in SVN, they should all be moved to git.") as I have not done that before, but I can research how to do it if necessary

As this is my first "proper" day working on this task, I will be checking back gere regularly for any updates so I can respond quickly :)
