I am still having a few problems regarding this. Let's consider, Sum(2*n, (n, 1, 9)). then changing index n -> 2*n gives Sum(4*n, (n, 0.5, 4.5)) where new n should be incremented by 0.5. But in Sum variables are incremented by 1. So the above Sums evaluate to different values. It would be a big help if you can clarify this a little more.
