Comment #3 on issue 3828 by hacm...@gmail.com: Report versions of all
external modules in test
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3828
Is there a reason that pyglet imports do not use the
sympy.external.importtools? Without that, the pyglet version could not be
reported using this mechanism.
Also, SymPy imports 'cython' instead of 'Cython'. For some reason, the
former does not have a '__version__' attribute and the latter does. I think
it's justifiable to change, especially given the following:
In [1]: import cython, Cython
In [2]: set(dir(cython)) - set(dir(Cython))
Out[2]: set([])
In [3]: set(dir(Cython)) - set(dir(cython))
Out[3]: set(['__path__', 'Shadow', '__version__'])
Any objections? How does one go about testing the cythonized code? Is it
build_ext, then run the polys tests?
