I've learned (thanks to Vinzent, I think) how to work on Windows with
the test runner and don't have the same problems anymore...I would
have gone crazy by now if I couldn't get that to work easily. However,
the test runner has been upgraded significantly in terms of its
ability to do all doctests and that in itself warrants the upgrade.
The only issue it has (AFAIR) is that line numbers for the decorated
functions are off.
