yes, I am interested. Try to delve into sympy to see what exact things you could implement and how. Try also to search the sympy list archives, to get some ideas what other students have proposed in the past, regarding the Risch algorithm. Then you have to write an application, I'll post exact instructions later (e.g. to which mentor organisation).
