If you need help with the git workflow, just ask here or on IRC, and
we'll help you out.

I should point out that if you are submitting this patch for the GSoC
requirement, that we will require that the patch go through a GitHub
pull request.  And even if you're not, this is by far the best way to
do it, so much that it's pretty much the only way that we do patches
anymore.
