Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your advice. Actually that's the reason I dropped my idea. If something like that can be done through few pull requests (and someone has already done so much work on it), there was no point in me working on it as a GSoC project. But I am definitely interested in helping him out and will do so in my spare time and give him some suggestions as well. I submitted a proposal for creating a new module polytopes, a project idea suggested by Ondrej.
