Ok, that's different. I tried cl32.dll, cryptlib.pas, and ssl_cryptlib.

I had the impression, OpenSSL won't work for SSH V2, so I didn't see it as an 
option at all. Are you using OpenSSL for SSH2 with success, anyway?

For all purposes, I would use it, I would be happy, if I had a simple push 
command line, receive server response by string or stringlist approach.

That's exactly the main benefit of FPC, beside it's free and open source.  
First of all it's cross platform by nature. Write once, compile everywhere. 
Same with GUIs, based on FPC by using Lazarus, msIDE or fpGUI, see

For a basic common font selection, install msttcorefonts on your Linux.
