Hmm... You know, Arthur, the question doesn't really compute... You're reading from HTTP-server just a stream of bytes; even a static document is a stream of bytes... This means that you can go and read x bytes, use them any way you wish, read the next x bytes, use them any way you wish, and keep doing this ad infinitum - or until you run out of bytes, which ever happens to come first. What is the actual problem you have? Are you using some comparatively high level functions (asking this since Synapse has both high- and low-level stuff for you as a programmer to use; the library is very versatile) that try to fetch the whole "document" before returning. If this is your problem, you will need to go to lower level and do all the connecting, http request issuing and byte readin as they drop in yourself (usually streaming does not involve reading the response "line by line", as there are no "lines" to speak of) ... but all-in-all, for us to be of any help you need to be a bit more specific on what you're having problem with :) -- Markku Uttula ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
