My original impulse was to give an answer that was considerably less
charitable than yours, but hopefully as valid and accurate <g>, but as I
re-read the question(s), it seemed like there were multiple questions and
issues, and some were really strange ("Should I use another function?")...
It crossed my mind that this might be part of a homework assignment...
If only I'd been a few minutes slower, I could've saved my response since
the definitive one was given! <G>
