This is the first time I've used Synapse, but I've managed to send the cash drawer 07H to get it to kick open. However, it has a little error: "Project raised exception Class ESynaSerError with message Communication Error 9998: Timeout during operation" (I have tried to suppress the error message with a "try...except", but it seems to keep getting through) Is there any way to cure this? How can I check the serial to see if it's trying to signal it's open or closed state. With regard to the origins of the cash drawer; there are no distinguishing marks on it apart from a stamp on the box which proclaims "Made in China".
