This is importent, because it forces client to use GET method
for redirection even if the original query has been POSTed
(see RFC 2616 p. 10.3.4)

No, see RFC 2616, p. 14.30:

    The field value consists of a single absolute URI.
    Location = "Location" ":" absoluteURI
